    Sway Bar Bushing Replacement

Good heads up from zembonz. I'm on my second set of Moog bar end links after rehabbing the whole front end of the truck about 3 months ago. I got overzealous with the tightening and they ate themselves up. First the ride was really hard and lots of noise, then it mellowed out for a while and...

    Sway Bar Bushing Replacement

Just got my sway bar links and frame bushings in the mail today. I'm replacing the majority of my front suspension and the parts will be trickling in over the rest of the week. I'm expecting a night and day difference in drive/ride quality since the condition of the current joints and bushings...

Passenger side one touch window down

I like that the DEI has one-touch up in addition to the down. Is the installation pretty straightforward? Did it come with directions, were they clear? My $30 one touch down just for the passenger window isn't looking like such a bargain when $50 will get you up and down for both...

Passenger side one touch window down

Just wanted to throw some kudos to all the folks posting up their installs, and to PonyPerformance.com where I ordered my module. The shipping was quick and following the included instructions the install took about 15 min. The module fit right into a void under the switches inside my '98...

How to: Seafoam Your 4.0 SOHC

I'll admit I was a little worried the seafoam would create a new problem at the expense of some potential one. So far everything has worked out. Now I have a new goal Shen, 300K! I'm only halfway there, but your truck has had a few years headstart.

Cruise control steering wheel switch replacement

Just wanted to add my thanks to all the folks who've posted up on this problem. I ordered my replacement switches from Amazon and they came in on Friday. It honestly only took me about 10-15 minutes to swap out the switches. Thanks to everyone for the thorough descriptions and pictures...

How to: Seafoam Your 4.0 SOHC

I run a tank of premium through from time to time. Again, it's probably only a perceived benefit, but I did it because I wanted to "treat" the truck. :) Since I was running some Seafoam through the fuel system, I thought I'd wash it down with premium in an effort to help clean out any buildup.

How to: Seafoam Your 4.0 SOHC

OK. Shortly after my last post I stopped by the gas station and put half the can in and filled up. I used the cover of night to hit a secluded parking lot and situated myself under a light. It was a bit difficult as I was a one man show, but after a couple attempts I was able to start the...

How to: Seafoam Your 4.0 SOHC

BUMP. I'm in the same boat as Tavery1. I've got a '98 SOHC that's never been "Seafoamed". I'm due for some general tune-up items (oil, plugs, wires) anyway so I was curious about the accepted "best practice". Would you guys suggest this? 1. Use the IAC method plus a little in the...
