    Explorer shakes at 60mph

I forgot to mention that when we lift the front end this evening, we could about an inch of movement from side to side when the steering wheel was locked.

    Explorer shakes at 60mph

I have had a rather strange noise coming from my front and and it has recently gotten worse. I currenlty have a 2000 Sport with the 16" wheels and P255 Goodyear Wrangler RT/S tires. I noticed around August/September that driving down the road, I could hear a "wob wob wob" noise. In October at...

4.0 SOHC doesn't like to start in cold weather!

Thanks for all the information. I printed it out. I intend to have them do the fix for the 00m12 issue and I pray that this takes care of all my issues for years to come! Now, for another note, has anyone tried the MAC air intake system? Thanks

How can I determine my rear axle ratio? I would like to know what my towing capacity is (roughly) and I need to know which axle it is to determine this. Thanks

4.0 SOHC doesn't like to start in cold weather!

My Ford Explorer has troubles starting as it gets colder. For the past few weeks, when I start it and it is under 30 degrees, it revs normal for a second or two, then it revs really low and stalls.. if I keep the revs up to 3000 and compensate when it tries to stall, it will eventually warm up...
