Ive read some people having problems with the fuel filter disconnect tools. I totaly understand, they are junk..I bought one,scissor type from my local auto parts store(made in china).. the problem i ran into was the tool did not fit correctly onto the line..this tool should fit tightly...

I recenty changed my fuel filter and broke the plastic (gas tank side) locking clip. Ford told me I had to buy the entire fuel line to just replace the plastic clip. B.S.!!! Most fuel filters do not come with the clips but I found a filter that does. the manufacture name is PARTS+PLUS...

filter thanks for your reply!! however thats not it. the pic you are showing is the enging side of the filter. the plastic keeper that broke on mine is on the gas tank side. the recepticle is a black plastic elbow.. i took pics but im having trouble uploading them here.. thanks agian for...

I was replacing my fuel filter and the plastic retainer( keeper) on the union broke. Ford wants the entire fuel line just to replace the keeper. Does anyone know where I can purchase the keeper? Thanks
