I have a "somewhat of an alarm" far as I know it's factory theft system . What is good about this?? I know I lock it and when you open the doors it goes off but is there any type of bump sensors for bumping the body or any way of tweaking or messing with the theft system??

I loaded my truck with luggage driving to new York and got 301 miles till my gas light came on. When I filled it ,it was only inbetween full and 3/4 .does that sound right ? Now I'm down to a quarter tank from almost full few gallons shy and ive driven 269 miles . Truck is empty on this trip...

Last night did the autozone shackles and got 1inch to 1 1/2.didn't realize how gone the leaf springs are and shocks. My buddy is giving me some pro comp shocks and going to try to find new or tougher leaf springs.anyone know what I can swap them from off another ford ? My leaf springs...

i have a small what feels like clunking from under my feet...feels like u joints but not sure...its a 96 4.0 4wd...160k on motor new trans with 30k but it did this before the trans was replaced ...any ideas on what it could be????:mad:

Just replaced water pump which stopped my leak problem. Today I pulled my cap off after it was hot and it seemed like there was nothing in it.. I haven't noticed any leaks on the ground.... Any ideas???

just bought a 96 explorer 4.0 v6 4wd.....when i come to slow down it has a slight clunk every other time it goes into 1st gear....havent had somone look at it but was curious if anyone else had this problem....its an automatic ...does not do this in any other gear just down to first
