Hi guys. Thanks for the response and links. It looks as if the blend door repair as suggested by thundertiger may be the answer to the problem. I will let you know once I have pulled the guts out. Thundertiger, I am particularly interested in yours as you have a right hand drive and you cured...

    Heater Problem

My brother's '97 Explorer seems to have jammed its heater and this stays on the whole time except when the a/c is set to "Max". We have pulled the dash out as far as posibble but cannot get to the heater control valve. This is operated by vacuum I assume from the temperature control on the dash...

    Transfer Gearbox Output Shaft failure

    DPFE Sensor.....Wrong One

Yes, thats them. One on each pipe just after the two "heat box" silencers. Do these fellas give any problems? If so, how often? As said, indicated by an orange warning light that looks like an engine. This eventually starts affecting the auto transmission by hunting 4th,5th under light load.

    DPFE Sensor.....Wrong One

Thanks for the help with identification. Anyone experienced my problem? I would appreciate any help. I believe it could be the fuel quality causing this?

    DPFE Sensor.....Wrong One

DPFE/ Oxygen sensors Hi out there. Seems some of you guys may be able to help. Are you discussion the sensors that bolt into the exhaust pipe just before the main silencer? My problem stems from the emission warning light (small orange engine) on the instrument binnacle coming on. Shortly...
