    Alternator?

    Thank you Tony for your reply. I feel a little silly but relieved it was not the alternator. I moved the negative terminal, just a tad, on the battery and everything went on: radio, lights, dinging sound when the door opens, gauges, etc. I had the terminal replaced today.
