    Parking/Running lights short?

    *short* update. I replaced my fuses - i replaced my multifunction switch ( which was burnt out ) I thought that was the reason for the short... I still have something causing my fuses to blow... so frustrated.

    My thought - The way I understand is that overdrive is an automatic function on some vehicles to maintain the best gear for the required performance. if it is not a malfunction then perhaps its to benefit your best interest.

    **UPDATE** I took the dash panel from covering my instrument panel; took out my master light switch - NO ISSUE there.     *update* I put my explorer in neutral - i press on the brake pedal a few times watching the voltmeter drop - then i notice -the- burning smell ; it is the master light switch - i just need to get into the dash to get that switch :) yay.

    ***!!! I have this same EXACT Problem with my 91 Ford Explorer XL. I read through all the thread replys and I will be sure to check out my 'master light switch' ( even though its just a rod because the plastic piece is MIA l0l ). :thumbsup:

    Third row seat in 1991 XLT

    _****** I just acquired a 1993 ford explorer xlt for parts and am looking into changing out my nasty seats in my 1991 explorer xlt : any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    My flashers (blinkers) don't work, but my hazard lights work.

    Any of my flashers stopped working - I replaced the 'round' blinker fuse and the turn signals operate however the hazards fail to operate. Separate fuse between the 'round' blinker fuse and the hazards?
