    I for awhile was getting a problem when turning right the steering wheel would hold that direction, and not return to center (or near) on it's own. I was thinking it was a brake line problem (since I just changed the flex lines) and worked on the brakes and re lubed the calipers (where needed)...

    DOH been there before. I had the bearing of the fixed idler pully lock up and the pully fell off. I armstrong steered it home (it was still cool and didnt come close to over heating) and had powersteering fluid EVERYWHERE under the hood. it comes out of the vent hole in the cap of the power...

    I didnt read 5 pages of responces but. did you replace the front rubber brake lines? sometimes the inner material of the line seperates then acts as a one way valve. this leaves pressure on the caliper. it is strange that both sides started doing it at once. but i've seen it before.

    vibration at 2000+ rpm

    Has anyone figured out what the vibration is that the 94 explorer gets over 2000 rpm? as soon as it hits 2000 it starts to get noisy and a nasty vibration. its not a drive line issue since it will do it in park. any help would be appricated.

    hub buzz hopefully someone can shead some light on this problem. I recently cleaned my front hubs of all the hard packed grease and such from the previous owner. I relubed with differential fluid (80w 160 or so...) previously they would lock but would have problems unlocking...

    How to: Clean the MAF Sensor

    I cleaned mine today also looking spotless (132k miles) not sure if it was ever replaced... but it did improve idle quality and lower end torque. (blasted some gumout carb cleaner on a q tip and carefully rubbed the wire sensors.) nate
