1997 mounty blend door
I did my 98 EB from the underside a few years ago. NAPA has a repair kit that is designed to do the repair from above which of course means removing the entire unit. no power to DLC
DLC power Thanks, I just replaced that fuse today and it works. The owners manual claims #5 10A is power source. Nothing but cigar lighter on #17 . Yes I was shocked and amazed that the owners manual was incorrect. Another car guy at the parts store said that most cars power DLC from lighter fuse.- 5 Rays

no power to DLC
I recently purchased a 2000 Limited 5.0. There is no power to my data connector. Replaced #5 10 amp fuse. no change. My scanner has new battery's and works fine on other cars. By putting the volt meter on my 2010 explorer it looks like there should be 12 volts to one of the terminals with key...- 5 Rays
