What transmission comes in the late 90's v8 explorer 2wd? Been trying to find the code out for it. Thanks a lot for the help.

tried searching, couldn't find much info on the later model explorers. I figured since they were equiped in some trim levels with v8's that with those OEM mounts a v8 could go in. Now just to see if the v8 mustang tranny would fit or only the v8 explorer.

What all does it require to drop a 302 v8 mustang motor into a 99 sport 4.0l v6 2wd 5 speed. I know the wiring will be entensive, and the pcm will have to be changed, but will the v6 tranny fit or will it take a v8 tranny, and if so would the stang tranny fit or only explorer v8? lastly will...
