If can find rubber body plugs I will use those. I have some on my Alfa Romeo that are just too small. Otherwise I Will use a sheet of rubber cut to size.

I like the idea of removing the motor mounts. I cut a hole, very easy. Replaced the plugs, Runs much better. I will replace the other four later. They were very worn. If I can figure out I will post the pictures of the holes. Thank you all.

Yes I have that off. I can reach the wires but not the boots. I have seen a couple of posts and a youtube video on cutting a 3" hole. I am going to try that. I will let you know. Thanks all!

I did not get to work on it today. But plan to try again tomorrow. I still cannot figure out how to get to #6 . I have the wheel off but there are a lot of things in the way, like brake lines and exhaust manifold.

Thank you for the info on the spark plugs. I am trying to start with #6, I can get my hands to it but cannot get it off. I removed my wheel to try it that way but to no avail.

I bought double plat autolite and autozone wires. I only had 2 options for the wires. Those and bocsh which were a bit more. I watched the online video and it sold me. hopefully that will work me. Thanks

I bought new spark plugs and wires. I think I messed up number 3 wire trying to get it off the plug. (I thought and hoped it was number 6) How do you take the wires and plugs off?

I need some help I have 1997 Aerostar. It is running rough, the check engine light came on so I had it checked it out with obdII tester and had 1 problem. cylinder 6 misfire. I tried to see if could pull number 6 plug. How do I get to it?

I have a new to me 1997 Aerostar, It has no users manual. My rear Wipers and the rear window defroster does not work. Is there a fuse for these? Does anyone have a diagram for this fuse box? Thank you!
