Do the breaks seem like there is a problem with them? If they seem fine and it were me, I would throw new pads on it and call it good, since you're giving it back to ford in a 5 months. Just my .02.

Good call Alec. Sounds to me like there was to much weight behind the axle on the trailer. When I use my trailer I load things so that it's mostly centered over the axle, but still has a hundred or so pounds extra toward the front. Maybe load the heavier of the two ATVs first. Hope that helps.

I just got one for my '99 at walmart. The model number is FD16. I got the wrong one at first too, and then couldn't find the right one. On my way out I found it in the atuomotive clearance section. :confused: I don't know why it would be there, but it looked like the right one and said 98-00...

When you turn the ignition to the on position do you hear the fuel pump kick on for a couple seconds? If you don't it could be the fuel pump or just the relay. I would check those first, since they're pretty easy to check. Hope that helps. :)

Are you sure it started the first time? It sounds like you were in a hurry, and I know that I've done that more than once when I was in a hurry or just not paying attention. I would "start" and not notice that it didn't really start until I went to move the steering wheel. Just a thought...
