Thank You! Outstanding how-to! Made changing the part so much easier by being able to see exactly what needs to be done. I did not have to cut my panel either, but thought about it. Sure wasn't a lot of room to get the shaft lined up, but it went in eventually. Thanks again! Paul

Problem resolved. It ended up being a shift coil pack... transmission guys replaced, no more light, no more hard shift. Paul

My guy at the shop told me that he pulled a code 790. He thought it might be a wiring problem, but was not able to find anything faulty. He suspects a bad pcm. What say ye? Paul
