    Need help asap! New steering column??

    So last night, somebody tried to steal my 1991 explorer. They completely tore the ignition housing to shreds. Nothing left. Do I need a new steering column, just a ignition housing? I have no experience with ignition or steering problems. Thanks guys. (Won't let me post pics)

    loud thumping in coolant system

    1991 explorer xl, 4.0 4x4.. Just changed the w water pump today, along with the serpentine belt, upper radiator hose, heater/waterpump hose, and flushed out the radiator and coolant reservoir/ wiper fluid tank while I had them off.     99 problems!!!

    So would replacing the water pump solve this problem? Or could it b a different leak? I'm just hoping it's not a head gasket or lower intake gasket.

    So here's my many issues. I just bought a 1991 explorer 4x4, 5 speed manual. Monster exhaust leak. Think I need new headers. My main problem, is the explorer sometimes overheats when idling.
