Hi !!! New to the site. I just bought an 04 explorer 4.0 that's in excellent condition for 122,000 miles. A mechanic buddy of mine says I should replace the timing chain. Looking for input.

I just bought a 2004 explorer 4.0 with 122,000 miles on it. A mechanic buddy of mine says I should replace the timing chain. I was wondering if anybody can tell me from their experience if this should be done with this amount of miles on it.
