    just picked up a 99 xlt in great condition 140k, put about 400 miles on it so far and it seems to shift just fine. Previous owner said the fluid was exchanged on a machine around 90K or so, it looks fairly clean not bright red but still reddish. Not sure what the shop used for fluid but i think...

    Hi purchased a 99 xlt off a buddy of mine. Its very clean, always babied 140K 4.0sohc, 4.10 gear, 5r55e trans, guy always used mobil 1 oil. So far i have flushed the radiator fluid, P/S fluid and added a small filter, T/C fluid, rear axle fluid, brake fluid and new rear slotted rotors and pads...
