    Thanks for the reply! When I tried to flush it I just used a garden hose with a little pressure but the thermostat was still connected. Should I try it with the thermostat removed? I just don’t want to button it all back up if there is some kind of blockage.

    No I think they are aluminum. They don't stick to the magnet in the drain pan.

    Hi, I have a 2000 Explorer V6, 2wd. I was changing the transmission fluid and I found these two small cylindrical pieces. Can someone please identify where in the transmission they possibly came from? I am hoping it's just the valve body that I need to replace. Thank you for the help.

    Fuel Filter Fun!!!

    I used a sharpie cap as well to do mine, I had to use one for each side as it pretty much ruined it. It took some time to do and was frustrating but I am glad I am done with it! I didn't de pressurize the fuel system before so i had a good amount of fuel come out. Just make sure to wear safety...
