    Rear pinion shaft help

    That is correct and I was able to remove it in the end by putting an allen wrench in the side of it to pull it out. :)

    Rear pinion shaft help

    I was trying to take the pinion shaft bar out of my differential how ever when I got the bolt off it slid down and hit the differential case how do I pull this bar back out? I can turn the bar any way but for some reason I can't just pull it back in. I own a 2001 ford explorer.
