What did you do to your 5th Gen?

Let me tell you first that I know that I haven't been active with this group for a while and that I've been busy as a moderator for a 5th GEN FB Group but a lot of people know that I LOVED my 2016 Platinum Explorer with especially with the modifications I did on it, but COVID has changed the...

K&N Drop in filter. Does it make turbo's louder

With OEM, you're not going to really have any noticeable noise coming from the turbo's sadly.

If wear is not important, get the Continental ExtremeContact DWS.

    Aftermarket wheels

It looks like @kenemmons ride which inspired me to do mine. If I had to guess, Velgen Wheels VMB5 20''x10.5" with a 45mm off set. Mine are VMB6 with those specs. Tires are 295 45Z R20. I went with Pirelli Scorpio Verde Run Flats. @Tricon916 how close am I on the wheels?

    Aftermarket wheels

I got the VMB 6. Love them. Plus, DO NOT PAINT. Wrap the bumpers and stuff. Much easier and lasts if done right. Your ride looks fantastic!

What did you do to your 5th Gen?

Thanks you! The continental DWS were good but the tires wore out so fast. I was only able to get 25K on them. I got a small rebate and I put the balance into a set of Pirelli Scorpion Verde tires. So far they handle excellent especially in the rain but the true test will be in the snow this...

What did you do to your 5th Gen?

For those of you who care, here's my opinion I recently installed B6 Bilstein Shock Absorbers. I had it installed last Saturday and already put 968 miles on them immediately. My XPL is on H&R Special Springs, LP. and over-all, I felt them a little less than I did with OEM. However, my OEM had...

What did you do to your 5th Gen?

Having a little fun today with my girl. I love it when certain cars challenge me. She may not be super fast but she holds her own quite nicely. Have to thank @Livernois for the tune.

What did you do to your 5th Gen?

OEM Cross Bars, my friend. They do the job nicely. A bit pricey though but if you shop around you can get a deal. I did from my dealer. He gave me 20% off.

K&N Drop in filter. Does it make turbo's louder

What did you do to your 5th Gen?

This was my first road trip literally right after the install the day prior. I averaged 80mph on cruise control most of the trip but was heavy footed on stretches opening her up on the highway. I just wish that my dash cam didn't loop over the parts where I was "racing" her. This is the...

Peter! Great to hear from you. Sorry I haven't been around but I promise to be more engaging this time around. As for the pipes, I think they are but I bought into it because of Mike from EcoPowerParts. Ecoboost (Dev Site) There's the product and little more about it. So far, the hot...

What did you do to your 5th Gen?

Sorry for the late response, but I've even added on EcoPowerParts CAI. My ride sounds fantastic especially with the BOV and with the new intake. As for throttle response, it may be a placebo affect but I feel it's a lot more responsive however @Livernois says it's going to take a little bit to...
