It seems mine change back to a default setting on every restart. I hate the reverse automatic brakes, collision warning, along with others. Is this normal, or am I having issues?
Yes, there is...but it is indirect. If front temps are set at different settings, you can press the ‘Menu’ button on the dash and on the display you will see a ‘Dual’ button. Tapping that sets the passenger temp to the same as the driver.
I have never noticed it with the windows up, but the other day I had my windows down and while driving at about 40ish mph the mirror really whistled. It is kind of annoying....
I would take the fact that I could hit the release on the dash, the button on the back tailgate, or the button on the fob and the hatch did not open as a bigger indicator of a problem...
I chalked it up as another electrical gremlin that I have come across with this vehicle.
I had this happen once. Pulled into a parking lot and hit the button to open the hatch. Heard the chimes, but hatch didn’t open. Tried all the ways... no luck. Started the car, nothing. Shut it off...nothing. Then for some reason I thought to move the truck. Changed parking spaces and it...
When I picked up my ST from the dealer, it was in their delivery area, and it was easier to just back it out if the building. I was backing out of a single-bay door, and there was a car parked outside of the building that was close, but I had plenty of room. At one point the car completely...
I actually kind of like this feature. You can control the fan speed, and it will control the temp of the air coming out. I’ve always hated when an auto setting starts blowing the air so hard that it sounds like an airplane taking off.
Are you saying at highway speeds in Sport mode you have selected past 7th? (Just want to be sure I am understanding you as you also mention being in Normal). Thanks!
That's intetesting...I will have to try that out. I was on a 2 lane road doing about 55 or so, and it wouldn't go past 7th gear. I was still over 2k rpms though, so it's not like I would have been dogging it in 8th.
Anyone else notice that you can't go past 7th gear in Sport Mode while using paddle shifters in a ST?
I have been searching all over the net to find this mentioned, and haven't seen it discussed anywhere.
This makes no sense, but my stereo sounds better now. It’s not that I am just getting used to the sound, especially since I have hardly driven the vehicle in the last few weeks.
Can’t explain it, but I’m not going to complain!
Hello Joe. Sorry, I did not see this before I sent my own message! As I said in my other message (and my reply), the stitching on my console is specific for a Sport model, and has red stitching. If you are still interested, I can send you any other info you may like...(pictures, etc)...
Excellent...however, there is one thing to keep in mind. Mine was for a Sport, which has the red stitching, where I believe the Platinum has white stitching? Would you still be interested if that is the case?
Considering the amount of advertisements I have to navigate around every time a page loads, I wouldn’t think revenue to keep the site up would be a problem.
Anyone seen a rear cargo liner that will cover the back area when the 3rd row is down, but can fold to allow the rear seats to be raised?
The WeatherTech liner looks real nice, but what are you supposed to do with it if you have it in and need to use your third row (and are away from home...
Exact same for me...once you get to about 10 on the volume the mids are just garbled. It not the sub either (unless there is a sub hidden in front somewhere). To get to their 980 watts of rated power, there has to be amps somewhere that have some sort of adjustment available on them.
I have gone back to the Surround setting as well. It really just sounds like the crossover is set too high...at least to me. I wish there was some way to adjust that. Maybe more options will become available after the vehicle has been out longer and a bit more is known about the system.
An additional question would be, does anyone know the location of the amplifiers? At almost 1000 watts of rated power, I'm wondering if there may be a separate one for the subs that may have an adjustment for the crossover frequency...
