Yesterday I changed my clutch plates and left rear axle. There is a slight humming at certain speeds. Is this a common thing to hear until the new parts get broken in?

I just bought this SUV it only has 104,000 miles on it and I put a Flowmaster on it too. It is has been garaged for about 10 years. Can you please tell me what is the best spark plugs I should put on that will give me more power and mileage with out jeopardizing the engine itself.....thanks inn...
