    Ride after lowering

Could be the springs aren't seated properly. Experienced before on previous cars when installing springs myself.

Oil catch can $30 Amazon vs $100+ name brand?

Thank you for your experience. These are things I would have never considered. I like stress version for the easy maintenance and cost. If things break, I can order another one from Ford directly. Price is way more affordable too. Maybe that would be better option for myself. 👍👍👍

Oil catch can $30 Amazon vs $100+ name brand?

Th UPR looks top of the line components and price to match. UPR looks like a stage type filter setup and Steeda only a single stage. Adding UPR to shopping list. :chug:

Oil catch can $30 Amazon vs $100+ name brand?

Was looking at the same question a few months back. Since not many places would ship one to california, I'm thinking of going with Steeda's version: - Steeda Explorer Black Billet Explorer Sport Oil Separator (2013-2019), 555 3722 - Steeda Has anyone used or have one installed that wouldn't...

    Push Bar for Explorer

Reviving an old thread, but I finally purchased and installed the Go Rhino version of the basic push bar over the weekend. I love the look and build quality, but taking off the front bumper was a pain. The 3 bolts below the headlights on both sides were the pain points. Also, you'd want to put a...

Finally, custom exhaust complete...time to show it off...

Did you ever put a dyno run to get some numbers before and after on the exhaust? What do you have planned next, drive train upgrades? built block? weight reduction?

    5th Gen Explorer Photo Thread

This a going to be epic.. started following you on IG. Can't wait to see how well the v6 handles the mods you have planned... Interested in the Wilwoods as a future mod, but springs and suspension parts first.

    Are 22"s too big?

Just installed a set of 22s on my xsport. Agree that not many folks here don't run 22s but I think they fit the SUV nicely. Will upload some photos later tonight to give you an idea and help others decide if 22s are for them. Did toy with the idea of 24s but with past experience using rubber...

    Push Bar for Explorer

Pic of the push bar looks better and more proportionate than the setina. Looking good, may have to add this to my xsport in the future wants list.

    Roof Rail Separating

Just noticed my driver side with the same issue. There's some wiggle room on the trim to try and force the sucker back onto the white clip. So far, it's stayed and not come loose this past week. My thought is that maybe design flaw on Ford's part.

    Geometry Setup

Just throwing it out there, but is there an ideal geometry setup for road setup? Obviously not looking for track or autocross use, but in general for maybe fast road use. Most cars have a sweet spot for the toe, camber and caster, but ahven't seen a setup for the Xsport yet.

    Are 22"s too big?

I'm also thinking about going 22's as the crappy hankooks are on their way out. I have reached out to Velgen multiple times to see if they do have fitments on their wheels without any luck. Their sales person Anthony suggests to look at their truck series wheel designs. I personally love their...

Its cheaper to order the interior LED set from Drive Bright as well as the puddle LED lights. Drive Bright | LED Bulb Kit – Ford Explorer A cheap way to modernize the Ex as Ford should have done from the beginning.
