    2004 4WD system issue

    Problem found thanks to Mbrooks420. After removing the bezel (great video by FordTechMakuloco titled 2002-2005 Ford Explorer Instrument Cluster Removal) I found the wire harness for the 4WD selector switch unconnected and laying under the radio. Thank you for your help. This forum is great.

    No I haven’t checked the switch. How do I access behind it? Also I found the transfer case relays on the right front fender well. Haven’t determined if they are functioning yet.
