Correct there is no dipstick in this transmission...... Thats why people who had the leak show up only caught it when the transmission blew up

Its a sealed transmission, unless you have the pump to cycle the fluid you wont be filling it yourself.... There is no dipsitck because Ford are dipsh!ts......

My build date is Sep 19 so we fell outside of the recall, we did have the same issue with the camera which got replaced a few weeks ago under a warranty claim.

I asked about the sway bar, the tech had already unhooked it and drove it around and the sound was still there. Good job on that one, that eliminates three components.

Unhooking it is easy enough, just some bolts. The next time I talk to the dealer I will ask if they drove it with the sway bar unhooked.

I am not expecting much after reading this thread, I would like to get some feedback from the guys that are lowered. Have any of you heard the rattle after lowering? I know there are no off the shelf after market sway bar links yet but the sound reminds me of bad sway bar links.

Our ST is in the dealership for the rattle, the tech has drove it three days in a row on the highway and around the parking lot, their first course of action is replacing a strut, should have it back tomorrow to verify.
