    04 4.6 to 05 4.0 tranny swap

    this is probably a dumb question but will a transmission from a 04 4.6 explorer swap with a transmission from a 05 4.0 explorer? my 4.6 engine is shot and my 4.0 tranny is starting to fail so i am curious if i can swap the tranny with out much head ache
