he could use a shackel to lift the rear too if i were you i would do a 2 or 3" body lift and then crank up the front torsion bars and put a shackel in the rear or add a leaf depending on your preference, and that should give you the room for 32's, or you could just get the full 4" suspension...

ok guys, i have a 2001 xlt 5.0 awd and i'm getting a new job with better pay and i'm thinking about putting some serious work into my exlporer. I already have a mac intake and flowmaster exhaust, and i was thinking about trying within the next year or less hopefully to do torquemonster headers...

i guess i'd have to see it to believe it, just cause the jeep has the low gear i dont see how he would out pull the explorer with the weight and horsepower advantage along with locked differentials

would that apply if say it was a 4000 pound 147 horsepower 4 banger jeep wrangler with open differentials, opposed to a a 6000 pound ford explorer 5.0 awd with 250 hp and locked differentials?

the problem i've been having is that its like a 5/8" thread pattern... could be the same thread pattern used for gas pipes not sure i'm just having a hard time finding 5/8" pipe fittings

depending on how handy you are you could always get some steel to make the new brackets do all of your cutting and drilling yourself and then take them up to an exhaust shop to get any welding done

i'm not looking for real loud this vehicle sees alot of roadtrips one with my family especially this christmas and it would get irritating if it was too loud i'm happy with flowmasters though i had it on my 3.0 ranger

someone said it earlier and i think they were right if you're worried about sag from the trailer and want to stay level then take out the shackel and use an add a leaf that'll stiffen up your rear leaf springs for the towing and give you the lift you desire while staying level

well it comes off the header at an angle i believe so if you put the fitting off of the header it would push the egr towards the back of the engine bay away from the intake manifold however if you put the fitting between the egr and pipe it should raise it strait up...is this why the ford racing...
