    Yup Yup I'm in the AF at Andrews. My buddy ended up gettin rid of his X (unfortunately) but hey you dont know of some good off road trails to ride in in the Ft Meade Andrews/Bolling area do you? If ya do please do let me know, cuz i can't seem to find any LEGAL places to have some good 4x4...

    Friction while turning

    Hey, a friend of mine had a problem similar to yours. the faster he went the louder the humm got. If he turned to the right there would be no sound, if he turned to the left it would start up again... it turned out to be his bearings. he got them replaced and no problems with the noise...

    will recall smooth out idle at all?

    if it works... I dunno if it will work, you have an SOHC? Mine is a OHV and i have the same rough idle which just started. Its my understanding that the recall is for SOHC and has nothing to do with the OHV. PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG!!

    Sorry its gotta go As much as I love my X if they recall it... ITS gone I just came upon mine by accident. The wife wanted it, then she wanted a car... Thats alright I'm stuck with it with for now... But it is a good thing for now especially with gas prices ( Iwant a V8)

    Overhead console...

    What states have inspections?

    MD Maryland has an inspection only when you register it the first time. Then you may get hit for a random emissions test. Not too bad I guess... Its definitely not California!

    Overhead console...

    Ok, I have a question about the overhead console. In between the temperature reading and the compass reading there are two leds one is "CAL" and the other is "VAR" - What do they mean? I know I could probably find out what they mean if I had an owners manual, I'm too doggone lazy to go...
