    It's the EGR tube - tiny hole does the tick tick tick. Easy replacement.

    same problem with the drivers door handle springs broken. I bought a new one and it has to be painted. comes red primer. no aftermarket paint for my color. painted it black and will paint the others . tried to install but can't get the hooked latch rod out of the yellow plastic gromet...

    Thanks for all the hints. It was the egr tube. One little pin hole. Probably a defect in factory weld. My local Ford mechanic new it immediately when I told him.
