So my "stock" 00 explorer had the check engine light come on the other day while driving to work..so i stop by autozone to see if they can get the code..their scanner wont work..so i stop by oriellys and buy a scanner since i could use one anyways..it doesnt work either..it works on other...

ate up the dang powertrac and had a full spool laying around and been thinking of getting that in there as a temp..wanting to put a arb in the rear at some point in the summer hopefully..but was thinking bout putting in the full spool..ive read that you had to have the c-clip eliminators install...

Whats everyone's two cents on this??i've read al's thread over the years and with the gas prices going nothing but up and my explorers value plummeting i was wondering what are the best add-ons for fuel mileage someone could do on a basically stock 4.0 sohc that has a kkm kit on it..

might be a dumb question..but is there an easy way to access the plugs on the passenger side of the engine..the drivers side was no prob..the passenger side is cluttered with all the a/c components..

help!!just got around to getting another synchronizer..as jefe told me, i got the synchronizer for a 96block 123mm and the sensor for an 00..im having a problem getting the synchronizer to go in the whole way..the o-ring is still 1/4" or so away from being properly seated..any clues as to what...

been trying with no luck to find info on the location of the synchronizer on a 96 block..can anyone help point me in the right direction?? thanks

anyone fab up a sway bar??it shouldnt be hard but i was wanting to see some on a 2nd gen besides looking at an XJ..Need to fab one up so this rig drives a lil better on the road..coilovers make for fun driving on the street :D

my lifters and camshaft synchronizer have gone out and in the process of studying this i came across something interesting on the compcams website and have not come across it in my research here..here's the link...

i gotta replace the valve lifters and cam shaft synchronizer on my X..im armed with a haynes manual and EF.com, my question is: is this a job i can do myself??or should i just bite the bullet and get it done..if so, whats a fair price in labor??thanks!!

in the process of changing the pads and rotors on my 00..the rear got done with no probs..however, the front caliper mounting bracket screws are completely rusted and wont budge..i've been using some PB blaster stuff to no success..and i dont have any real access to air tools..any suggestions??

hey, just got done replacing the pads and rotors on the rear..my question is do i have to bleed all 4??or just the rears??since i only replaced the rears im not sure if i have to do all 4 or not..thanks for the help!!

hey all.. little background info regarding the question..im in the planning stages of a SAS on a 00 xlt..im planning on doing a setup similar to Jefe's but without coilovers and just coils..i was talkin to one of my jeeper buddies and he's pretty high up on this kit..its a y-link..i've searched...

i replaced the bulb and finally got that beeping to stop!!but the code its spitting out is code 36...anyone know what this means???searched the forum but couldnt find anything about code 36...also, where would one find out what kind of differential i have??? thanks for all the help!!
