    Purchased my '06 XLT V6 back in June. No problems here, and just turned 7,000 miles. Towed a couple of dirt bike trailers but no offroading. Took a 700 mile trip and averaged 21mpg with mixed city & highway driving.

    MPG has improved I reset the trip computer 1,500 miles ago and have averaged 18.9 mpg. I have been using Citgo 87 octane and mixed city/highway driving. My V6 4x4 XLT Explorer now has about 4,500 miles.
