2000 XLS, 4.0. Just got the P0303 code-generic misfire cyl 3- with noticeable rough idle. Engine has 62,000 easy miles on it, maintained, etc. Should I replace cyl 3 plug and swap the wires, clear code? Anything else to check?

2000 XLT, 4.0. Gas gauge is wildy inaccurate and does not move much from the 1/4 spot. It bounces around while driving up/down hill. Ran our of gas with it showing 1/4 tank, no gas light on. Any ideas where to start? Gauge? Sending unit?

For those who replaced the plastic arm rest piece with the metal bracket, does the arm rest now sit on the center console lid when in use? Mine sits off the center lid about 1" and touches it when I lean on it. I was afraid I may break the plastic holding the metal bracket on with too much pressure.

When my truck is cold, the oil pressure reads zero and the check engine light is on. After 5-10 minutes, the pressure comes up and the check engine light goes off. Engine is in perfect condition. I could not pull any codes. Am I safe to assume it's a bad oil pressure sending unit?

Looking for some inexpensive but better than stock 6x8's for my sons 2000 Explorer. Are there any off brands that have OK sound?

Anyone replace a broken lighter-next to the radio? Mine has fallen through and I can't tell if a replacement lighter or radio/heat bezel would fix this. Doesn't seem to be a way to keep the lighter attached to the back of the bezel. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. 2000 XLS

My cd cartride is stuck in the changer. When I push the eject, it makes a noise, but it does not eject. Any ideas on how to get the cartridge out? Thanks, BTW, its a stock cd changer in the center console.
