Sub and Amp, Will these two work together?

Actually, I looked on the amp. There is no mono switch. Also, I measured the resistance on the sub, and it's actually got 3.1 ohms. Is that weird for a 2 ohm sub? Since it's closer to a 4 ohm sub than I thought, think bridging it, while keeping it a little lower than full power, be alright?

Sub and Amp, Will these two work together?

So, this mono switch, it just makes the right and left side outputs both the same? So they both just put out the sound for both sides right?

Sub and Amp, Will these two work together?

So, all I need to do that is, just run the sub out of just one channel, right? Either the right or the left. Will I lose anything, because it's only one sides sound?

Sub and Amp, Will these two work together?

Alright cool. Because at the moment I have neither the money, nor the room for another sub, because I drive a Sport Trac. So, I'll just use it on the 2 ohm, and keep the gain low. I was hoping that would help, and it sounds like it will. Thanks for help guys.

Sub and Amp, Will these two work together?

Well, the sub can handle 400W RMS. But the amp only puts out 250W RMS into a 2 ohm load, when it isn't bridged. When it IS bridged, it puts out 500W, which is a little too much, so I was just going to turn it down slightly. So can I do this, or is my best bet, just using the 250W?

Sub and Amp, Will these two work together?

But will it still work? I'm not planning on cranking the amp's power anyway's. The sub can only handle 400W RMS, and the amp puts out 500W RMS at 4 ohms. So if I just turn the amp down a bit, and use the 2 ohm sub, should it be ok?

Sub and Amp, Will these two work together?

Hey, I just bought a 10" Kicker CVT 2 Ohm Subwoofer. And I also bought a Sony Xplod 1200W Amp. I was planning on bridging the amp to get higher RMS out of it for the sub. But now I noticed that the bridged mode says "500W x 1 RMS into 4 ohms". My amp is 2 ohm. Will this setup still work, what...

Sub Box Design, Under Rear Passenger Seat

Hey again, now after some reviewing, I realized that the sub I have is recommended to have a .8 cu.ft. box. The most I can possibly get is around .55. So, I think I'm going to mount it behind the rear passenger seat. And I'll build a huge triangular type box. On the rear driver side, behind the...

Sub Box Design, Under Rear Passenger Seat

Hey, I have a 2001 Explorer Sport Trac, and I'm going to be building an upward firing, sealed sub box to house a 10" kicker CVT Shallow mount sub. I'm wondering if any of you have had some experience in building your own sub boxes to around these specs, or similar, and be able to give me...
