Gas Milage I have a 2004 Ford Explorer LTD AWD 4.6L 17-18 town and 24.6 Highway at 65mph and 18.2 at 80mph:thumbsup:

up keep do not run in water over the hubs. will wash out greese and burn out barrings. but other than that there is nothing like the all wheel drive. I went through 10" snow like a hot knife in butter.

fixed it. changed all vacuum hoses. now I can get on it and no ABS light. Thanks to you all.

chrome is pealing and every where I go they want to put 20" wheels on me. I just want to replace rims with OEM 17". fixed income can not pay to much.

hooks try harbor freight they have them. brand new about $10.00 each.:exp:

I need to know how to take off the interior door panel on rear driver side. to check a speaker wire. The speaker comes on when it want to.

55 Mph you will get more MPG at 55 mph than at 65 or 70 mph. it works we may not like it , but it works.:navajo:

poor Gas milage Mine was not that bad, but I had got down to 12 MPG. I change the air filter, ran some gas cleaner in the gas tank. K&N air filter, and bosch iridium fusion spark plugs made a big jump over the last 4 weeks. I`m up to 14.7 MPG in town. I have a ford explorer LTD 4.6L V8 AWD...

More on GAS milage I am now up to 15.2 MPG as of 6/22/2008. Just to keep you up dated.

Back in Feb. 2008 I was having poor gas milage. This is great now that I have change spark plugs again. I went to Bosch Iridium fusion and my MPG went up to 14.4 miles a gal. from 11.8 miles per gal.. had already put in a K&G air filter. things are looking better. right now..:us:

When I get up to 40 or more I get a humming right under thr center of the front seats. can anyone help. have a ideal what it is? My explorer is a AWD 4WD LTD 2004. HELP!!!:exp::exp:
