The car seems to run fine but the gauge is showing no pressure. Could this be a bad gauge or do I have other problems. The car has 209000 miles on it been a good car but I need it to last about 9 more months until my son is out of college.

I have a hose that comes off the front of the front differential it has a white piece in the end. There is a liquid grease coming out of it. I was told to tie it up high and the fluid would not come out but that did not stop it. The explorer is a 96 4wd. Does this hose go somewhere or what.
