Jason_25,
No, it seems fine at idle. Just those small, but noticeable, sputters. I recently changed out the plugs & wires. I also took apart the air intake box, cleaned the MAF with brake cleaner, and put in a new air filter.
I have a '96 Explorer Sprt . . . While the truck is idling, I can hear the engine slightly sputter every now and then. I think it is misfiring. Can anyone tell me how to diagnose this problem and to fix it. Thanks:D
I brought my '96 Explorer Sport to the dealership and got one problem fixed. I suspected that one of the O2 sensors was bad. I was right, but the dealership's computer said I have a bad cam syncro & sensor, which is the cause for the squealing noise I here every now & then. They want $550...
Need some advice . . . I plan on changing the spark plugs on my '96 Sport truck. Does anyone know what are the torque requirements for the spark plugs. I would appreciate the help on this! :D
