uhh my RPM gauge is all the way over under the MPH gauge.... didn't know this was possible!!! any body else do this??? i have the OHC 4.0 and my trans is slipping it happend during a slip. Before that though i would always may it out going through mud and stuff....

is your check engine light on? i know its not running so you cant just drive it to a shop, but you need to get a hold of a scan tool for a transmission the basic ones are pretty vauge on what they read....get the codes its reading and go from there.

i would say there is defiantly some kind of mechanical because of the loud screeching noise accompanied with the loss of power to the wheels. This has recently stopped though!!! which is trowing me off alot. If i shut the truck down and start it back up it only helps with the "no-reverse"...

Yea i havn't pulled the pan off yet i live in apartments no jack stands, no level ground, no tools... i mean i have basic wrenches and some pliers but not good stuff that will last through a transmission problem. And i was told that if i do the fluid and filter flush its going to make it worse...
