I am going to be honest.... please forgive me. I really dislike people putting in "HID conversion" kits that fit into stock housings. These cause glare and can blind on-comming traffic. I would prefer to use actual HID lights/housings. These can be mounted inside the OEM headlight...

Well ipulled the trigger and picked up aset of 9005s. There is a big difference and im happy with the results! Thanks

Well thanks for the info. I am hoping someone with an 06+ would be able to tell me their experience before i go and buy the bulbs and potentially ruin my reflector :) thanks!

How close is the bulb to the reflector? Front panel? Is the front panel plastic or glass? Yeha, i read they had ot be cut, not a big deal...

I saw some usse the 9005 bulbs instead of 9145 for the driving lights. has anyone don this on a 2006-2008 Explorer? i want to but I am afraid it will melt/burn the enclosure. Thanks!
