Well I found this check valve that's in line a vacuum line that goes through the firewall. The check valve was leaking by. Hopefully that's it, but ford wanted $45 for the valve that includes the lines with it, Wtf

my tire light has been doing the same thing sorta. the tire light would come on with low pressure, stay like that for a day, then out of the blue would flash tire monitor fault and tire sensor fault. that would flash for about a min or two then all lights go off and everything is back to normal...

did you have any luck with the ground or repair for your problem? Mine just started doing the same thing. Seems like a bad ground because going over a bumpy road makes it worse.

check for broken wires in the door jamb boot- i had mostly the same issues as you and found a broken black ground wire. make sure you pull both sides of the boot becuse those wires are tight in there. hope this helps you out matt

mine was making the same noise....ended up being the flex plate that had a few cracks around where it bolts to the torque converter. this mysteriously happened after the dealer replaced my transmission a month later. they wouldnt own up to it because they said its a common problem

pinshooter13- try checking the wires that run through the door jamb in the rubber boot. I had the sam problem and repaired a broken wire in there. there are a lot of wires in there, so look good because i overlooked it the first time
