    4.0 Good Pressure but AC Clutch Cycles Sporadically. No cold air. HELP!

    any resolution? My blower works fine and my system pressure is perfect, the relays are fine and so are the pressure switches. My AC clutch is just cycling on and off sporadically and the air is not cold of course. I'm thinking the control panel needs to be replaced? Help me out folks, Summer...

    Please keep elementary for me. My belt split in half and I heard a thumping sound. Drove 5 miles to auto parts store to replace the belt. Now my AC Clutch does not engage.

    ac bypass belt

    Hi, I drive a 99 4.0 SOHC explorer. My ac clutch and/or compresser is wacked, it grinds, get hot and smokes. I read in the forum that i can bypass the ac and an appropriate belt is available...can anyone give me a size or part number for the correct belt? I am not ready to replace the compressor...
