    CV Boot Melting?

    99' Ford explorer xlt 4wd Ok so this is a pic of the passenger side front axle. I'm not to Knowledgeable about CV parts but I'm assuming this is the CV Half Shaft. Now the car does make a nasty grinding/groaning sound when the 4wd is engaged under a hard turn.( Wheel Cranked) It makes...
