    05 Explorer XLT locked doors and battery dead

    My 05 XLT battery died last night and I believe it triggered the alarm locking the doors. I tried to open the doors with the key but it seems that it is electronic as well. I need to open the hood to charge the battery but can't get to the latch do to the shroud covering it. I need some help guys.

    Hood trying to initiate liftoff..

    Trucks fallin’ apart… I’m fallin’ apart right along with it lol… it has been my biggest investment in my short life of 20 years so far and it’s also been quite a disappointing one so far.. problem after problem, breakage after breakage… I just limp it along everywhere I go and deal with it...

    97 Billet Grille Hood Latch Issue

    I know you can install a hood latch from a 98 but is there anyway I can just leave it how it is and once the grille is installed move the latch with a screwdriver, putty knife?
