    Over heating, coolant bubbling when turned off

    Bubbling has been happening for about a week, finally overheated. Started to replace thermostat but one of the bolt holes is stripped. Going to buy a tap and die set and try that out for the first time (kinda nervous) Hoping it ends up being the thermostat but would like some thoughts on it...
