    Can I take a cylinder head from the junkyard and install it right away, or would the timing be off?

    If I remove my cylinder head including all the valve springs and everything, and take one from an explorer at the junkyard, can I just swap them out straight away? Or will I need to adjust the valve springs or anything like that to match the position my original one was in? I really don't know...

    1995 ford explorer 4.0 straight pipe

    Hey guys! ok i installed a 24 inch cherry bomb in my car. It has a nice rumble but it isn't loud enough for my liking. I would like to get straight pipes for it but i have no idea how this would affect my mpg. I'm keeping my cat but i wanna do away with the muffler. it honestly sounded amazing...
