00 explorer 4 wheel drive dash lot was flashing?

Hi. I'm a new owner of a 00 explorer 4wd 4.0 v-6 with only 105k on it. I'm the second owner this rig was always garaged very clean. My issue is the 4 hi/4low lite flashes on the dash?

It’s the check engine light of your 4wd system. Any other lights on? ABS?
