00 mountaineer ac control issues

I have a 00 mountaineer 4.0 v6, 4x4 with standard ac controls, with the ac on any position air only comes out the defrost vents but when on max ac it comes out the dash but switches to defrost under accelation. I have already changed the control switch. Where else should I be looking?

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak between the vacuum bulb in the front bumper and the controls in the dash.

It was there. So i have a broken line coming out of the port near the front of it and can't find the loose broken end
