"00M12" intake recall and repair kit

Hi guys,

My explorer (vin X) has the exact symptoms of the 00M12 recall, however this recall is for the vin code E explorers. Has anyone with an vin X explorer had this problem. I want to buy the 00M12 kit and fix my explorer, but I am not sure if the kit will fit a vin X explorer. Does anyone know?

He o-ring gaskets are a SOHC engine prob only. The intake manifold gaskets on the OHV do go, but the parts/gaskets are not the same.
