00m12 kit

Hi All
Not wanting to look stupid {more than usual} i keep seeing on the site people talking about 00m12 kits, what i can gather is they are for the timing chain ? Mine is ok but for warned is for armed or something like that anyone shed some light on it for me

The OOM12 kit does two things. A new set of upper and lower intake manifold gaskets. (which solve a air leak problem that leads to cold start issues) and a revised front timing chain tensioner and an oil gallery restriction device to increase the pressure. You can tell if its been done by looking at the tensioner and if it is a flat bolt them it hasn't if it has a 2" extension on it it has.

My Ex has a slight timing chain rattle on cold start up but goes off after a second, i might look at doing the repair in the the new year,thanks again for your help. Andy
