01 Awd V8

Hello,
I am looking at a 01 limited AWD V8. What is the good and bad in this truck? Is the AWD system prone to problems? or dependable? How about the V8? I know my 4.0 has been pretty bullet proof, but I have only had the part time 4X4. Any input would be helpful.

I am very partial to that combo. The AWD setup is reliable, the biggest problem people have is the front drive shafts after 150,000+ miles.

The v8 is awsome, I haven't heard of any major problems, or had any with mine. The trans behind it is way better than the 4.0 trans.
