01 Sport Intake

Ok. I have a 2001 Sport with the 4.0 SOHC. I bought a TBS a while back from a member, it was for a 01-03 SOHC, but it didnt fit mine. Then I heard there was a job1 TB and a job2 TB, looked into it and found the difference. So now since minde is a job1 (from what I can see the older style, like the 98-00 sohc), is that the kind of Cold Air Intake I need to buy? My engine has the plastic cover that says 4.0 sohc and goes all the way to the back, and dont the newer style ones just have a smaller cover on the front?

I just want to make sure I order the correct one, and since mine is a sport it makes searching for this type of think kind of confusing. Thanks for any input!

nevermind. thread can be deleted as I think I just scored a KKM setup that says it will work for 98-03.

or just buy an adapter off ebay for 12$ and get a new filter and call it a day. My adapter didnt fit 100%, but it was aluminum and easily modified. Works great
