'02 4.0 timing chain noise

My 02 Explorer 4.0l XLT crapped the front left timing chain cassette/tensioner. Do I have to replace all timing parts or can I limp it around replacing just the front? I realize the rear will fail eventually but I've got 343 000 km on it and would like to retire the old girl to the Bush rather than the scrap yard. I've rebuilt the tranny and rear end 2 yrs ago. Thoughts?

I have a remanufactured transmission and now have my engine out. Rebuilding both front and rear timing chains. The rear was stretched and the front was holding on my one link. I should get 10 more out of it.
